Last week at Valencia Library we held three days of Lego for all of the kids in the area who were on spring break. Everything was awesome and as always we had many master builders. For this year’s Lego Creations @ the Library we had a special project for everyone to play with. We made our own stop motion film using the app LEGO® Movie Maker by The LEGO Group (available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch).
Stop motion is taken frame by frame. You move the objects in your backdrop little by little without moving the camera. Also it is important to remember to leave your fingers, hands, and arms out of the frames for that real-life movie effect.
After you are finished making our video you select done. You can add the movie you make to your camera roll, and then from there you can upload it to YouTube with a Google account (Gmail).
This time around I did not add any extra frames, effects or music but with the app you can add them. You can enjoy the film from Lego Creations @ the Library below:
