We Have a Book for That

There are going to be times in your, and your child’s, life that are difficult to discuss or explain. Reading about a person going through a similar situation can help. In our Parenting sections we have both fiction and non-fiction books that can help with some  difficult or embarrassing topics.

There are books that talk about illness, aging and death.

Part of Me Died Too           The Scar

Books about having two homes after divorce, growing up with siblings and moving.

Siblings

And books about learning how to play well with others, puberty and emotions.

These books, and others like them, can be found at Santa Clarita Libraries.

The Parenting section at Canyon Country Library can be found in the enclave to the right of the Children’s Reference desk. Both fiction and non-fiction books feature a blue sticker on the bottom of the spine.

At the Valencia branch you will find books like these housed next to the  resource cener.

The Old Town Newhall Library parenting materials are on the second floor next to the Adult Non-Fiction.
