It’s that time again, folks. Storytimes will be returning to all the Santa Clarita Public Libraries next Monday, January 12th.
We offer many different Storytimes, each one geared for a specific age. Please pay close attention to these age requirements. You child will get more out of the program if they are in the age appropriate Storytime.
The Storytimes offered are as follows:
Baby & Toddler Storytime is designed to build early language and literacy foundations for children 6-36 months old. Sing and bounce, tickle and talk, read and rhyme together with your little one!
Just 2’s & 3’s Storytime is where your 2 and 3 year olds come to enjoy stories, songs, and parent-interaction projects designed especially with the developmental tasks of toddlers in mind.
School Readiness Storytime is a program for 3-5 year olds designed to build the early literacy, listening, and group participation skills required for successful school entry. Join us for the best of children’s books, rhymes, songs, and engaging activities!
Elementary Storytime is where kindergarten through 3rd grade students and their families are invited to experience a literacy enriching program planned and presented by librarians and local teachers.
Cuenta Cuentos para la Familia/Bilingual Storytime es donde se le invita a unirse a nosotros para rimas tradicionales , canciones y cuentos en español y en Inglés. Únase a nosotros para un viejo cuento de moda./You are invited to join us for traditional rhymes, songs, and stories in both Spanish and English. This Storytime is for families with children of all ages.
All Abilities Storytime invites you to come join us for a special Storytime open for children of all ages. We welcome children who may be working on their Storytime skills at the library. Every Storytime, we will read a book highlighting the wonderful differences in all children.
Pajama Storytime is where you can join us for an old fashioned bedtime story. This Storytime is for families with children of all ages.
