Just a week ago we hosted a Paleontology Workshop for Tweens and I want to take the time to thank everyone who showed up. There were a number of projects available at the program and one was to make a stop motion video.
After some slight editing here is the video that we made:
We used an iPad, the Stop Motion Studio app, a handcrafted backdrop and stand.
Along with the video we each attendee dug for fossils and brought home their own mini-dinosaur egg.
Here is the recipe for that:
1)Mix 1 cup coffee, 1 cup sand, 2 cups flour, 1/4 cup water
2)Knead the mixture just like dough, flatten enough of it to completely cover the mini dinosaur figurines.
3) Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Put the eggs in the oven for 10 minutes, turn them over, and then bake them for another 20 minutes.
4) Let them cool and harden.
