Get Ready for Summer Reading!

April 27th marked the end of our Spring Storytime Season! Over the next month, librarians across Santa Clarita will be working hard to prepare for a stellar Summer Reading Program for our patrons. Everyone—and we do mean everyone, babies through adults!—will be able to sign up to track their reading over the summer and get some cool prizes in return. Not only that, but starting in June, there will be a ton of fun programs for your children, including storytimes, petting zoos, crafts, and STEM experiments. (And don’t forget to check our Events Calendar to see what neat adult programs there might be for you, too!)

To tide you over until the next storytime season begins and to get you in the mood for some seriously fun summer reading, here are some wonderful books you and your children will love:

Going by Craig Frazier
Always by Emma Dodd
Spot’s First Walk by Eric Hill
Is Your Mama a Llama? by Deborah Guarino
