As the library takes a small break to prepare for Spring and Summer, storytimes will go on break from November 15th through January 20th.
But don’t fear! There will still be lots of fun programs and activities to be had at the library during the break!
Holiday Storytime Extravaganza

Cookie Decorating
Join the libraries and decorate your very own holiday cookie! All cookies and decorating supplies are provided. Limit 1 cookie per child, while supplies last. This program is for children ages 4 – 12. No registration required. This event will be held on the following dates:

Las Posadas
Join the libraries for Las Posadas. Inspired by a Mexican holiday tradition, patrons are invited to visit each library and enjoy special crafts, sweet treats, and friendship at this nondenominational event. No registration required, while supplies last. This event will be held on the following dates:

In addition to these programs held at all three locations, each branch will be celebrating winter with branch specific programs as well.
Join the Old Town Newhall Library for a Crafty Wonderland on Thursday December 5th at 3:30 pm for a wintry craft make and take for the entire family and create your own holiday cards.
Join the Valencia Library for Star Wars Day on Wednesday December 18th at 3:30 pm for a day of Star Wars themed crafts, activities, and fun! Come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character and get ready for the release of Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker!
Join the Canyon Country Library for a Fairy Craft day on Tuesday January 7th at 3:30 pm to celebrate a Fairy Good New Year! Children will make their very own fairy dolls and special crafts. All supplies will be provided by the library, while they last.
