JUMPING CAT CRAFT
This is a very easy and cool craft, made with accessible supplies that parents could assemble it with the kids at home. When the craft is done, the child can play and enjoy making the cat jump and wave its hands, simply by grabbing the two center straws and moving them up and down as in video.

Materials
Foam or carboard paper
1 Small paper/plastic cup 9 fl. Oz. (270 ml)
4 Bendy straws
Scotch tape
scissors
Hole puncher
Markers
Instructions
- Draw or create the head and paws of the cat on the foam or paper.
- Cut out each part and draw eyes, nose, whiskers, and paws.
- Get the four bendy straws and tape them together with scotch tape.
- Make holes with the hole puncher, two on opposite sides of the cup and one big hole on the bottom of the cup.
- Insert the two middle straws into the hole at the bottom of the cup. Then pass the end of outer straws into the opposite side holes as in the photo. If in case, cut a small piece of straws to adjust the cat’s hands.
- Glue or tape the cat head and paws on the straw’s ends. Make the cat jump and wave his hands, grabbing the two straws at the bottom of the cup and move them up and down.

MATERIALES
Papel de espuma o cartón
1 vaso pequeño de papel/plástico 9 fl. Oz. (270 ml)
4 pajitas flexibles
cinta adhesiva
tijeras
Perforadora
Marcadores
Instrucciones
- Dibuja o crea la cabeza y las patas del gato en la espuma.
- Recorta cada parte y dibuja ojos, nariz, bigotes y patas.
- Obtenga las cuatro pajitas flexibles y péguelas con cinta adhesiva.
- Haz agujeros con el perforador, dos en los lados opuestos de la copa y un agujero grande en la parte inferior del vaso.
- Inserta las dos pajitas de en medio en el agujero en la parte inferior del vaso. Luego pase el extremo de las pajillas externas en los agujeros laterales opuestos como en la foto. Si en caso, corte un pequeño pedazo de las pajillas para ajustar las manos del gato.
- Pega con cinta adhesiva la cabeza y las manos del gato en los extremos de la pajilla. Haz que el gato salte y agite sus manos, agarrando las dos pajillas en el fondo del vaso y muévelas hacia arriba y hacia abajo.
